Faux Bois, which means "false wood" in French, is an artistic technique used to create objects, furniture, and decor that mimics the appearance of wood using concrete. This technique originated in France in the 19th century and is known for creating realistic, wood-like textures, branches, and grains through sculpting and hand-finishing.
